The Christmas Express

In conjunction with Cedar Park Church, Catalyst Drama is proud to be presenting The Christmas Express in December, 2010.  Previously presented at Cedar Park in 2004, this play takes a comedic look at how easy it is for us to get stuck in a rut, allowing the cares of our day to obscure what is really important.

As Hilda and Satch argue over what time it is, Hilda exclaims, “This is the most hopeless place in the world!”  She dreams of faraway places and only finds tedium in running the Holly Railroad Depot.  That is until Leo Tannenbaum drops in out of nowhere the day before Christmas Eve.  This nostalgic theatrical greeting card is full of eccentric small-town characters, wise-cracking their way to finding the true wonder of Christmas.  And on the way they make us all wish we could take a ride on the Christmas Express.
